Step 1 :
How to check version of Android smartphone
Before you go trying to update your device, you should check which version of Android mobile software you are running. You might already be on the latest version.click 'Software information' to find out.

Step 2 :
How to update your Android smartphone or tablet
First of all you should take backup of your Android smartphone e.g your contacts,photo,any other data which you have saved on your smartphone because which updating your data may not be distrubed, there are no guaranteesn of your saved data with updating.

If an update is available your device then you will be asked whether you wish to install it or not. If you select yes then the system will download and install the new software and reboot.
